Inscription:In memory of EDWARD PREBELL NEWTON who died 4 September 1915 aged 87 years. At rest. In loving memory of RAWIRI WILLIAM, second son of J & J NEWTON, who died 3 July 1905 aged 11 weeks. In loving memory of LINDSAY HENRY, third son of J & J NEWTON, who died at Waipiro Bay, 26 August 1916 aged 8 years. God needed one more angel child amongst his shining band, and so he bent with loving smile and clasped ou darling's hand.

Pop - Dad - RITA. In loving memory of JOSEPH EDWARD NEWTON, died 27 May 1934 aged 81 years; and ELIZABETH NEWTON, died 30 August 1949 aged 92 years.
