They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Inscription:In memoriam JOHN MURRAY and his wife ANNIE C (nee RICHARDSON), came from Scotland to New Zealand with their infant family in 1904. They settled in Gisborne and began working towards their several goals, chief among which was bringing up their children, two girls and two boys. As parents, they so succeeded in that task that when their earthly days ended each was deemed worthy of this tribute - Well done, thou good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over few things, enter thou into joy of thy Lord Mathew 25:14-30. In like manner, we say of our departed loved ones, Well done, father and mother, enter into the joy of the Lord.
